Shell Motorsport News Release

Buoyed by continued improvements to the Ferrari F60 throughout the 2009 season, last year's Drivers' World Championship runner-up Felipe Massa is hopeful for a victory with Scuderia Ferrari during the second half of the season.

In an in-depth interview with shell.com/ferrari, Felipe Massa explained the hard work and dedication of everyone at Scuderia Ferrari, as they strive to be victorious during the second half of 2009, "I am quite optimistic [for a victory, although] it's not enough just being optimistic." Massa went on to explain what is required from the team to be successful, "We need to work hard and that's what we're doing, working hard every week to try to improve the car and maybe arriving at the point where we can win races."

The Brazilian explained that the objective of the team's hard work and dedication is to win races on their own merit, and they aspire to be victorious "....not because the other cars have a problem but because we are the best car on the track. That's what we want and we're putting a lot of effort into that."
