New insurance venture, Richard Egger Insurance, has backed the BRSCC`s Club
Formula Ford Midlands South Championship as an associate sponsor for the 2008
season.
Richard Egger Insurance specialises in all aspects of motorsport-related
insurance and joins Carphone Warehouse Networks in backing the popular regional
Formula Ford series.
Richard Egger, a competitor, marshal and event organiser since 1969, has a
wealth of experience in motorsport insurance and commented: "We have a policy of
backing motorsport at its grass roots and are already involved in rallying,
hillclimbs and sprints, so circuit racing was the missing link. The BRSCC and
Club Formula Ford was an obvious choice - the introduction of the National Club
Formula Ford Championship has given the iconic marque a huge boost and I have
worked successfully before with the BRSCC in the days of Formula First".
The Carphone Warehouse Networks Club Formula Ford (MS) Championship in
association with Richard Egger Insurance starts the season on Easter Monday (24
March) at Mallory Park. The Championship consists of 11 rounds, of which seven
will count towards the National Club Formula Ford title.
