2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed

The sun shone on Citroën’s impressive line-up at the Goodwood Festival of Speed over the weekend.  Three UK premieres, high demand for DS3 at the inaugural Moving Motor Show and a unique presence in the supercar paddock, were all highlights for the brand.

Citroën enjoyed success at the festival’s first ever Moving Motor Show as visitors seized the opportunity to get behind the wheel of DS3. Over 100 test drives took place during the day with a fantastic reception from drivers and onlookers alike as the model followed in the tyre tracks of racing legends up the famous hill climb.

CITROËN’S GLORIOUS TIME AT GOODWOODGTbyCITROËN returned to the prestigious supercar paddock following its Goodwood show debut in 2009.  As well as continuing to delight visitors to the paddock, GTbyCITROËN roared up the hill throughout the weekend, turning many heads in the process.  Flanked by Bugatti Veyrons and Ferraris, the concept was a unique star in the supercar category.

On Citroën’s show stand, the highly-charged, all-electric Survolt concept made its UK debut. Mounted on a rotating platform, visitors admired Citroën’s bold and radical vision for an ecologically sensitive, high-performance race car.

DS3 Racing also made its first UK appearance.  Designed and tuned by Citroën Racing - the team behind five WRC Manufacturer’s Championship titles - the new 200hp DS3 attracted a huge amount of interest over the four days.

Over at the Goodwood FoS-TECH pavilion - a showcase for bold and exciting new automotive technologies - the Revolte concept was also enjoying its first trip to British shores.  The distinctive model impressed the crowds with its cutting-edge, ecologically conscious technology, its luxurious interior and its radical and stylish design.
