The HRCR has confirmed details of the sixth annual Autumn Leaves Scenic Tour, which will run through the beautiful Forest of Dean on Sunday 2 November, 2008.

Aimed at owners of older cars who like to take part in a social and non-competitive event, the Autumn Leaves is the perfect way to enjoy an older car and some wonderful British scenery in Gloucestershire and Monmouthshire.

The Autumn Leaves Tour will cover around 90 miles in the Royal Forest of Dean and the surrounding area, when the region is at its autumnal best.

New for 2008 is that the event will start and finish at the fabulous Speech House Hotel at the very heart of the forest. This converted 17th century hunters' lodge is the perfect venue for the event base.

The event is open to all cars at least 20 years old and the entry fee includes breakfast, a coffee halt and an early evening meal. The route will be defined by an easy to follow tulip road book.

The event is organised by the HRCR and more details will shortly available by visiting www.hrct.co.uk (scenic tours).
