FINE FESTIVAL FARE FROM JAMIE OLIVER’S FABULOUS FEASTS

Silverstone’s comprehensive catering facilities will be enhanced by the addition of Jamie Oliver’s Fabulous Feasts at this summer’s Silverstone Classic (22-24 July, 2011). Based right at the heart of the festival on the Village Green area, Jamie Oliver’s Fabulous Feasts will be providing festival-goers with beautiful freshly prepared food.

"I've been cooking for large catering events since I was a kid, so now I'm really proud to introduce Jamie Oliver's Fabulous Feasts. Our only focus is to make sure that our food lifts the event. We want to take the experience to another level and make it as memorable as it can be,” said Jamie Oliver who established Fabulous Feasts with event catering and fresh produce expert Nigel Harris.

Both men share a passion for fresh, wholesome food and quality ingredients, as well as a desire to bring something new to the events catering industry. Together, they've brought some amazing suppliers on board and now have unique access to some of the most fantastic ingredients.

“Jamie Oliver’s Fabulous Feasts offers something just a little bit different and a little bit more creative and we are delighted that they will be an integral part our Village Green scene at this year’s Silverstone Classic,” enthused Event Director; Nick Wigley. “There’s talk of hog roasts and sea food platters which already sounds mouth-wateringly delicious. Whatever is on the final menu we know it’ll be fresh, wholesome and fun and sure to enhance the overall visitor experience.”

Editor’s notes: The Silverstone Classic (22-24 July, 2011) is firmly established as the world’s biggest classic motor racing festival and is celebrating its 21^st anniversary this summer. The spectacular three-day event is staged at the famous Silverstone circuit, birthplace of the FIA Formula One World Championship and home of the 2011 Formula 1 Santander British Grand Prix.
