Tour Britannia at Race Retro

25th - 27th February, 2011

Organisers of Tour Britannia will be on hand at the forthcoming RaceRetro show in Stoneleigh on the 25th–27th of February, 2011, (Hall 2, Stand B36) to answer any questions about what promises to be one of the finest editions of the prestigious race tour for classic cars to take place on the 16th-19th of June 2011.

Taking place of pride on the stand and guaranteed to attract a lot of attention, will be Brad Mottier’s beautiful pre war Bigley Special which will be a familiar sight from Tour Britannia 2010.

Competitors and potential entrants in both Competition and Regularity categories as well as the new-for-2010 Targa category will also get the opportunity to discover the challenging Stages that the organisers have planned for a not to be missed Tour Britannia 2011.

The change of Tour Britannia's date to 17, 18 & 19 June and move into a weekend seem to have hit the right note with competitors.

Tour Britannia’s Director Alec Poole commented: “With just over 4 months to The Off we have already received the same number of entrants as those who started last year and judging by the conversations we have had with people at various motorsport shows in January, and the amount of e-mail enquiries we are receiving, there are still quite a few out there "Hot to Trot".  We have therefore decided to extend our Reduced Entry cut off date from 14 February 2011 to the end of the upcoming Race Retro Show at Stoneleigh on 25, 26 & 27 February 2011”.
