YUASA STEPS UP SPONSORSHIP OF BTCC HONDA RACING TEAM

Honda (UK) is delighted to announce that Yuasa Battery Sales (UK) Ltd - the UK market leader for Automotive Aftermarket, Industrial and Motorcycle Batteries - is significantly boosting its sponsorship of Honda Racing's 2011 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) team.

This will be the second season that Yuasa is supporting the team and as one of the main sponsors, racing fans will see increased Yuasa branding on the car when the livery is revealed in the coming weeks.

The Honda Racing Team is in the midst of pre-season testing where significant changes to the engine and chassis are being put through their paces. The team have been working exceptionally hard over the winter months to develop the new 2011 racing Civic and they are certainly not resting on their laurels. Everyone is expecting a highly competitive 2011 season of nail-biting racing and the Honda Racing Team has its eye firmly on the goal of winning all three Championship trophies on offer this year.
